What are Webhooks?

Webhooks are a way for your apps to get real-time notifications when events occur. For example, you can setup a webhook to call a URL (that you register with the Webhook Service) when a file is modified within a project or folder. Currently, only the Data Management Service supports webhooks and can monitor ten different data management event types.
